Vishnuvardhan’s younger brother Krishna, who established himself as an actor with ‘Alibaba’, is ready with his next release ‘Katradhu Kalavu’.

Directed by ad filmmaker Balaji, the movie features Vijayalakshmi as the heroine. V M C Haneefa, Santhana Bharathy and Kumaravel are also in the cast. Popular choreographer Kalyan plays a baddie in the film.

Talking about ‘Kattradhu Kalavu’, he says, “I play a Krishnakumar, a conman. I wanted to do the stunt sequences myself. After adequate safety measures, I managed to do them myself. They have come out well”.

‘Kattradhu Kalavu’ is an entertaining film. It has action, thrills and lots of humour, says Balaji. Produced by ‘Pattiyal’ Sekhar (Krishna’s father), the major portion of the movie was shot in Kashmir.

Says Balaji: “It is the story of a daredevil youth. It is a Robinhood-kind of a movie. Krishna has handled the role with maturity. Paul Jacob has scored the music. Vijayalakshmi combines both performance and glamour well.”
